In search of myself
I love being a mom and wife! I truly enjoy spending time with my family. But lately, my children don’t need so much of my time and I find myself trying to figure out what I really enjoy. I feel like I’ve kind of lost sight of who I am outside of being a mom and wife. I’m searching for that purpose outside of mommyhood. Who am I? What do I want to do for the rest of my life? What do I want to accomplish? But most of all, what has God called me to do besides being a wife and mom?
So, at this point in time, I find myself in a season of transition, searching for who I am.
After much time, I have finally learned that it is okay to dream big, to work on myself. To become the best person I can be. To figure out what makes me tick, what motivates me, and how I can best become the person I have been called to be.
This blog is my journey to finding myself, and creating my online business. It is my story of what I had to do, how I overcame limiting beliefs, changed my mindsets that were holding me back, and creating the life I dream of.
Why did I start this blog?
For too long, I have been putting my dreams on hold as I fulfill my calling as a mom and wife. I struggle to find time for myself, and I feel that I have lost sight of who I am, aside from being a mom and a wife. I found myself struggling to find joy in my daily routines, schedules and feel that life can be very mundane.
Finally, I gave myself permission to dream big, to follow my dream, and to work on myself. I started this blog as a type of diary to record my journey to becoming an entrepreneur and start my online business.
Through this blog I want to share my journey of discovery with you. I will show you how I am learning to live my life on purpose, how I am finding joy and abundance in my daily life. I will provide tips and suggestions as to how you can do the same.
It is my hope that through my blog you will find inspiration to discover yourself, follow the dreams God has placed in your heart and find the joy-filled abundance that God has called you to live.
